ICF Minstrels Invades SM Tarlac

Headed by their musical director Mr. Arnold Viola, the ICF Minstrels  performed at the SM City Tarlac  on Nov. 6, 2010in the grand launch of SM’s Christmas Season, a simultaneous event of all SM Supermalls all over the country.

With their rendition of Christmas songs in four voices, the singing group gained applause from the organizers and from the viewing mallers as well.   During the grand launch, it was the ICF Minstrels who led the singing of SM’s Christmas Song entitled “The Christmas Chrisms Bop.”

The launching was attended by Vice Governor Pearl Pacada, who was also the guest of honor and some officers and members of the Municipality of Tarlac City.

ICF Minstrels won 3rd place

In a provincial choral group competition, ICF Minstrels won 3rd place held at Paniqui South Central Elementary School last December 23, 2010.

“Kumukutikutitap” a song written and composed by Maestro Ryan Cayabyab was the contest piece heard in four voices.  And ICF Minstrels’ rendition of their warm-up song “Jingle Bells” really amused the audience for they had sung it with action aside from singing it with glee.

After their winning, the group drove to the school and held a Christmas party which was planned before hand by the school president, Mrs. Eleanor C. Coliamco together with her daughters, Ma’am Cherry and Ma’am Mary Ann.   “This is just a simple thanksgiving to you because you have been giving honor to our school,” pleasingly uttered by the school president.
