George Enrique, a Symbol of ICF Productivity

Graduated as Cum laude in 2003, licensed professional teacher, George Joaquin Enrique holds the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education is the very first alumnus of ICF who delivered the commencement speech during the 13th Closing Exercises of the school last April 3, 2009 at the Paniqui Public Auditorium.
Prior to that, the school officials held a deliberation of who among our alumni can serve as the inspiration for this year’s graduates of ICF.  “This is to show to the people that we are giving importance to our graduates and itwill surely make our graduation significant.” Dr. Abella, the school director said.  He also added that Enrique may have not been qualified to work in a prestigious government firm if he doesn’t have the competence and afficiency.

Enrique started his speech by emphasizing that he was really surprised as the invited guest speaker of his Alma Mater.  He even had doubt if he can deliver his speech very well because he doesn’t used to speak in front of multitude of people.  But right after his discourse, everybody was stirred up of what he was and where he had been as a student.  Convincing this year’s graduates, Enrique told them that his contribution to the future is to continue dreaming for high ideals regardless of of his status quo.  “I always wanted to become a politician,” he asserted.
Moreover, the invited guest proved his worth as an alumnus of ICF during the affair by reminiscing some of the moral values which the school had taught him.  He further said that the importance of education which he acquired from the institution served as his guiding post as he climbs the ladder of success.  And as a gesture of his thankfulness, Enrique has pledged an amount of 10,000 Php for the school for the reason that he made known that ICF is building up a new edifice.  “It is not the amount that counts,” Ma’am Mary Ann delightedly claimed.  “It’s how you look back to where you have been,” she tearfully quoted.
Enrique is now working in Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas.  At present, he is now taking his Master’s Degree at the University of the Philippines
