The High School Department of the Interworld Colleges Foundation, Inc. held for the first time a search for Bb. Agham on September 24, 2010 at the ICF quadrangle. This was in line with the school’s Science Fair activities with the theme: “Protecting Biodiversity through Science and Technology”.
The said event was organized by the Supreme Student Government (SSG) Officers headed by their president, Jeremiah Ramos with encouragement from their adviser Mr. Francis P. Navarrette and support from the high school principal Mrs. Pilar C. Mayo.A total of 15 smart and charming young ladies from every section of every year level put forth their effort to excel and own the crown. They have shown their creativity through their costumes made from recycled materials, showcased their outstanding talents, and proved their intelligence and knowledge in different environmental issues through the question and answer portion.
The candidates were all deserving. But the hardest of all jobs belonged to the esteemed panel of judges. They were: Mrs. Pilar C. Mayo (Principal, HS Dept.), Mrs. Marissa V. Gaspar (Principal, Elem. Dept.), Dr, Florentina F. Aquino (Guidance Counselor), and Ms. Leonora P. Banag (High School Teacher).
After a hard deliberation, the winners were finally chosen. They were as follows:
Special Awards: Best in Costume-- Ara Alviar, II-Beos
People’s Choice Award-- Ara Alviar, II-Beos
Major Awards: Fifth Runner-up-- Hannah Faye Obena, II-Linux
